Qualifications: Currently enrolled or completed degree earned in marketing, graphic design, advertising, or related field.
Essential experience and skills:
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with animation software a plus
- Social Media experience (Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn)
- Work within the company design templates
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail
- Excellent, professional written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated with a sense of ownership and urgency in areas of responsibility
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Communications Intern works closely with relevant departments including Marketing, Engineering (R&D), Sales, Clinical Education, and Customer Support to assist with the development of marketing collateral such as direct mailers, promotional items, sell sheets, trade show coordination, and other marketing materials as needed. Marketing Communications Intern also assists with basic marketing tasks and activities as deemed appropriate by management. Assists in coordinating all aspects associated with the creative and marketing functions of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities also include:
- Assist in the design of new marketing materials
- Work within design parameters set forth by Senior Marketing Communications Manager
- Maintain and update current company collateral to new corporate templates
- Communicate with external graphic designers, web developers, animators, video production companies, industry publications, advertising agencies, public relations firms, promotional distributors, and translators
- Assist in maintaining the online presence including email marketing, social media, and online content management
- Additional duties as assigned
Anticipated Travel: Less than 5%
