Directly impacts and strengthens Life Spine’s commercialization strategy by assisting sales management in the onboarding of new customers and distributors partners, as well as facilitating customer pricing and reporting/analytics within the domestic market. Key to the role is managing customer RFPs and field requests for pricing and access information. Coordinates the implementation and execution of sales operations, including quota setting, compensation plans, territory alignment, etc. Will act as a business liaison to regional managers and sales leaders to optimize sales performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the liaison between internal and external parties during RFP and vendor contracting bids, negotiation and inquiries.
- Work with sales management in reviewing all distribution contract requests, insuring profitability margins and compliance with company goals.
- Gather and administer contract/discount information, as well as analyze contract data to ensure it meets company guidelines and includes appropriate pricing.
- Compile and/or review price files before sending to customer facility for inclusion in RFPs and purchasing agreements, ensuring compliance with company pricing initiatives.
- Coordinate new contract execution with the Legal team to ensure all pricing parameters are correctly entered in Life Spine’s ERP system; including shipping, invoicing, and classification groups.
- Lead pricing and contracting discussions with customers, articulating brand features and value adds, with assistance for Marketing and Sales.
- Support sales in providing pricing and account data analyses; and accurate reporting and discrepancy resolution, working with Accounts Receivable and Customer Support.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support and Marketing teams to prepare pricing analyses for executive management review.
- Actively participate in reviews of sales team and distribution compensation plans, including quarterly bonus objectives, acting as liaison between finance & sales leadership.
- Utilize CRM, ERP and sales tools as a super user to complete analysis and recommendations for territory alignment, increased customer engagement and retention.
- Partner with sales and marketing team to analyze and identify targeted sales opportunities.
- Propose corporate pricing guidelines and approve pricing quotes that fit within the parameters.

QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year degree in Business or Marketing with at least three years of experience, ideally within sales operations and pricing analytics. Experience in the medical device industry and/or understanding the healthcare contracting landscape is a plus. Intermediate level understanding in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with MS Dynamics AX, Power BI and SugarCRM preferred.
